About Simply Grace Gardens LLC
Our Story
Simply Grace Gardens, LLC was established in 2023 with the vision of bringing nutritious produce to urban communities. It is a minority owned family farm in the southern urban community of Lancaster, Texas where we grow wholesome food.
After losing my mother in 2016 to congestive heart failure, and myself being diagnosed with heart complications in 2017, I knew something had to change. Alabaster Flows Urban Garden was born in 2018 as a means of healing from loss and restoration of health.
Our garden has since expanded to a full-fledge farm. What started as a passion to garden has now grown into knowledgeable farming and garden consulting. We now have a small orchard, vineyard, vegetable beds, and medicinal beds.
I have been gardening for 5 years and farming for 2 years. I strive every day to gain wisdom and a skillset needed to provide quality fruits and vegetables to my community while educating them on the value of having even a small kitchen garden.
Our Services
Our farm features a wide variety of fruits and vegetables, including various tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, watermelon, grapes, strawberries, berries, stone fruit, and so much more. Most are available for purchase at our local farmers market and we offer pick your own. We also offer garden consultation for individuals ready to start their own garden. In the near future we will host community events and classes with an emphasis on children/families and elderly, focusing on growing their own food, taking care of the soil, setting up home gardens, and starting their own business.
Our Philosophy
We aim to break generational curses within our community through in person and written training. Our goal is to teach the basic skills of establishing a raised garden bed or grow tower perfect for patio gardening, importance of caring for your soil, and growing food from seed to table. Simply Grace Gardens is a safe space where you can learn how to grow food through sustainable gardening practices. Together we can ensure our children have access to nutritious vegetables and fruits by working together to create a healthier and more sustainable future for everyone.
